As such, Criteo is increasing its investment in its retailer facing business that helps clients manage all aspects of their ad and audience monetization programs, also known as Retail Media. This is the placement of brand advertisements within ecommerce sites and mobile applications of retailers, as well as brand and retailer specific ads offsite. nbsp;Criteo’s Retail Media division was created with the mission to be the technology platform that powers the most efficient and measurable retail media ecosystem for the world’s leading retailers and brands. We are the leader in Retail Media worldwide, with over 100 of the world’s top retailers and many of the world’s top brands as client partners.nbsp;Reporting to the Managing Director, Retail Media, Americas, the VP, Sales, Retail Media will be responsible for overall sales strategy and execution, people leadership,nbsp;and commercial growth for the Retail Media Brand specific sales teams. They will lead and drive these teams to develop new relationships and nurture existing business with our brand partners across the U.S. This critical role will be at the forefront of driving growth for our Retail Media portfolio of Brands, and will help secure the future of Criteo.What you'll do
  • Lead and drive Retail Media commercial sales in the U.S.
  • Directly manage the Brand teams, including new business sales and account services teams (headcount of 50+ team members)
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy designed to build and grow the business
  • Forecast, lead and deliver revenue and profit targets for the team
  • Coordinate the development of key performance goals for direct reports
  • Lead the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives
  • Oversee the quality and successful delivery of Retail Media’s offerings to clients
  • Engage strategically with key clients or targeted client activities
  • Lead and support all hiring and talent development programs
Who you are
  • A true sales leader DNA with a strong commercial mentality and proven experience
  • Exceptional leadership skills, in leading high performing sales and account management teams
  • Strong track record of leading, motivating, recruiting, and retaining a large sales organization
  • Proven performance of consistently delivering business results in a high growth environment
  • Client-side sales and account strategy experience, across multiple verticals (CPG, Consumer Electronics, Toys, and DIY brands)
  • Influential connections and relationships within the retail industry, and with major brands
  • Proven track record of prospecting and signing multi-million deals
  • Expert knowledge of advertising agencies, both on a holding company and operating agency level
  • Ability to operate and influence in a matrix organization
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with product teams to help introduce and launch new products including supporting POC, Alpha, Beta and Rollout programs
  • A strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies and take advantage of new concepts
  • Ability to work closely with product marketing and deliver best in class sales enablement materials
  • Experience managing complex, interdepartmental projects
